Swansea City boss Brendan Rodgers hopes to keep hold of Gylfi Sigurdsson.
The Icelander, valued at around £8m, has been watched by Manchester United while Newcastle, Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool, Everton and former club Reading have all been linked with the 22-year-old.
"He has been brilliant in his time here and our club is looking to get something in place with Hoffenheim," said Rodgers.
"It will probably run over until the end of the season but we are very hopeful we can prise him here. He will be a great signing for us if we can keep him."
