Swansea City boss Garry Monk has denied reports of Michu being sold in the summer.
He has cut a disgruntled figure at times, having struggled to replicate the form that saw him score 22 goals last season.
But interim manager Monk said: "When we were both injured and doing our rehab together I had a lot of conversations with him. He is a very quiet guy and reserved and he doesn't speak much.
"When he does speak he speaks sense and I did not get the impression he wants to leave."
