Swansea City boss Garry Monk feels for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer over his axing at Cardiff City.
The Manchester United legend left the job last week.
Monk said: "I don't know the ins and outs about how it works with Ole and his relationships there.
"But from what I have seen from the outside and spoke to him about football he seemed a good guy, very knowledgeable and very good manager.
"Looking from the outside his relationship with the players seemed to be very good.
"I feel disappointed for him. He has gone there in difficult circumstances and wanted to change their philosophy and the way they play by playing more football shall we say.
"It's not quite worked out for him and the owners dictate what has happened and sadly he has lost his job which is never nice."
