Swansea City boss Garry Monk is delighted with what he's seen from Federico Fernandez.
Monk said he knew he was going to get quality having tracked the centre-half for a long time.
"It can be hard to adapt coming into a different league. Coming from Italy especially because it is a slower league," said Monk. "But I knew the quality Federico had. I watched him many times. I did my proper analysis before I brought him here. I knew he would adapt to the game in the Premier League. He's learning very quickly and he's a good defender.
"You don't become an international for Argentina for no reason. You have to have that determination and bit of fight about you and obviously he's got quality and class with that."
