Swansea City boss Garry Monk has defended goal-shy Bafetimbi Gomis.
The France international kicked off the campaign with a four-game scoring streak but has failed to find the net in six successive matches.
Monk said: “I think it's been a team collective, as a team we haven't performed to the levels we are capable of and you take that on the chin when you are part of a team.
“It's not about individuals, it's about the whole team, you can see from the way we've played in some matches that no one has played to the levels they are capable of.
“He's not getting as many chances and that tells the story, the team hasn't played as well as it needs to play to produce those chances and that's what we've been working on.
“On the other side, I look at the Spurs and Everton games, and the second half against Villa, it was the whole team playing well and we created chances."
