Swansea City boss Garry Monk is delighted with the form of Jack Cork.
The midfielder returns to his former club Southampton with Swansea today for his first outing there since his £3m January move.
"That was a great bit of business from us," he said.
"At the time Jack wasn't sure whether Southampton really wanted him, they weren't offering him a new contract.
"We moved because we had monitored him and thought he was an exceptional player. The summer before he had not wanted to come, but he did in January.
"We were surprised to get him but, for whatever reason, he didn't feel it was right for him at Southampton."
