Swansea boss Monk: Beating Man Utd now just ho-hum

Swansea City boss Garry Monk admits beating Manchester United has now become ho-hum for him.

Monk has already beaten United twice during his 18-month tenure.

"If you had asked me that when I first took the job I'd have probably said yes there was a greater buzz against the big teams, but now it is an even keel on all of them," said Monk.

"There is more hype about these games, but what I get satisfaction out of is watching how the players perform.

"For me, there is no difference in facing Sunderland last week than there was playing Chelsea on the opening day.

"If you'd said I'd do the double over Manchester United and Arsenal last season, I'd say that would have been the bigger buzz than a win at home to Burnley, but they are all even now.

"I didn't feel any different, I just got the joy seeing after all the hard work we did during the week that it would come off."
