Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has confirmed his interest in taking the Welsh midfielder to Anfield from former club Swansea.
But Swans chief Laudrup insists there has been no Reds approach for the £15million-rated star.
The Dane has conceded that he must plan for all eventualities at the Liberty Stadium.
Laudrup said: “We have to be preparing for everything. It’s not only in this case with Joe Allen but each position in the team.
“You have to think about the future. But we have not had any contact from Liverpool on Joe.”
