The 20-year-old was the best player on the field in a white shirt, and scored his side's goal after linking up well with Wilfried Bony.
The Wales international has picked up where he left off after an excellent first season of senior football, and Laudrup said: "It was great to see. He is a young player who is still coming forward and gaining experience.
"He's a good boy, who is very intelligent as well. It's good to see players like that."
