Swansea City are making £10 million available to manager Michael Laudrup.
The Daily Mail says £10m has been set aside for transfers, with Bolton midfielder Mark Davies still on Laudrup's radar after two previous bids in the region of £4m and £5m were unsuccessful.
Laudrup is also believed to be keen on another striker and extra defensive cover.
Jenkins said: "Michael's after one or two players in all areas - a forward, midfield player and a defender.
"At this level of football they've got to be 100 per cent ready. While it's great signing players with promise, everybody expects results week in week out."
