Swansea boss Laudrup: Norwich gave us reality check

Swansea City boss Michael Laudrup feels Norwich City delivered them a reality check on Saturday.

Laudrup reckons crashing to only a second home defeat of the season will serve as a timely warning they cannot get carried away.

Despite seeing some positives, like another double from Michu, Laudrup said: "In Denmark, we have a saying that trees never grow into heaven and we know they never do.

"You see it often when a smaller team does so many positive things you start to think we are good and results will come by themselves. But they don't, you have to work at it.

"The players have performed brilliantly in the last few weeks so let's just say that the first half was a lesson for everybody and sometimes you need to listen.

"I am sure everybody now will come back with their feet on the ground.

"But we all have to remember that after just one bad 45 minutes we don't have to forget about all the rest that has happened."
