Swansea City boss Michael Laudrup was delighted to see Michu amongst the goals in their 4-1 win over QPR.
Michu's double ended a run of six games without a goal for the forward.
But Laudrup said his lack of goals in recent week was never a concern.
"Maybe it was a bigger problem for him than us," he said. "For me who scores is not important, but he had been scoring a lot and then had a run without them, but that happens to everybody.
"He is not even a centre-forward, he is an offensive midfielder who can play there and score goals. But he does more than waiting for the ball up front, he works hard for us and he has never been a problem for us, even if he has not been scoring goals.
"When you have players playing all the games there will be moments when they are not 100 per cent. Even when he is not having chances he is working in other areas."
