Swansea boss Laudrup happy for Lamah to settle slowly

Swansea City boss Michael Laudrup says Roland Lamah will take time to bed down.

Having raided the Spanish market again following summer success with Chico, Jonathan de Guzman, Pablo Hernandez and Michu, Laudrup was keen to cool immediate expectations of winger Lamah's impact.

"He is a player we already watched before the season started," said Laudrup of the 25-year-old, who arrives on loan but with a Swansea option to make the deal a permanent one at any stage. "He is a player who is not a forward but who can play behind striker in all three roles and he has a lot of individual quality.

"He is quite strong and good one against one with a good shot, and is a player that can be very useful for us.

"We saw when Pablo was out for four weeks and Wayne Routledge was out as well we missed those characteristics a little so I think he could be useful for us and I think he will have a chance here."
