Swansea boss Laudrup delighted with Davies performance

Swansea City boss Michael Laudrup was delighted with debutant Ben Davies after their draw at Wigan Athletic.

Davies replaced Neil Taylor at left-back and is in line for a run in the team with the Wales international facing a lengthy lay-off.

"You always want to know that if you are bringing players on whether others are tired that the players you put on are able to be as good as the players they are replacing," he said.

"If we look at Ben, he is a young guy and he did a great job in a really difficult moment, and when we were down to 10 men Ki came in and kept the ball for us with Jonathan (de Guzman) and Leon (Britton) and I thought that was really good."
