Swansea City boss Michael Laudrup has called on Alvaro Vazquez to prove his value.
Laudrup is turning to the Spaniard with Wilfried Bony and Michu both out injured.
He said: "We lost two players against Valencia (including right-back Angel Rangel), but we will cope with that. Alvaro came close (against Valencia) and now this is his chance, his possibility.
"Of course, every players wants to play - not because a team-mate gets injured but that's part of football: one goes out and another comes in, that's how it works."
