Swansea City boss Paul Clement says Lukasz Fabianski has his full backing.
Clement told the Swansea City goalkeeper not to dwell on his mistake at Chelsea.
"I must say I was not aware that Lukasz had said he would take the blame after Chelsea. It is important that players are accountable, and you want them to be responsible for their performance," said Clement.
"I knew straightaway when the ball went in the net, his reaction told me he could have saved it.
"I spoke to Tony Roberts, the goalkeeping coach, and he just got caught between pushing it away or just gathering it in.
"He tried to gather it and made a mistake, but he had actually made a couple of very good saves before that which were probably more difficult than the one that went in.
"I don't blame him for the loss, he made several good saves and overall since I have been here he has been very, very good.
"He has made saves when he has needed to, he has come to take crosses when called upon and he is doing fine."
