Swansea City boss Carlos Carvalhal admits Jose Mourinho hasn't asked him about Alfie Mawson.

Manchester United are watching the Swans defender this month.

However, Carvalhal said on Friday: "I'm not [aware]. As you know I have relations with Mourinho and Mourinho never talked with me about that.

"But if Manchester United is interested in him – or City or Chelsea or Liverpool – to me it's not a surprise because he's a very, very good player. I look at this in a positive way - not negative. I'm very happy about that if the big, big clubs are interested in our players.

"Even if there's a 0.5% situation of us trying to improve the players and put them on a level that they go to national teams and big clubs look to them, it's part of our job and of course I'm happy about that. I'm not worried. I'm very happy."
