Swansea City have dropped their pursuit of QPR midfielder Esteban Granero.

The South Wales Echo says Swans will not move for Granero - despite his agent claiming the two clubs were in talks over a £2.5m move.

It is understood that Granero is not on Swans boss Michael Laudrup's list, although there was an interest earlier this summer.
