Crewe Alexandra midfielder Ashley Westwood is a target for Swansea City.

The Daily Mail says Swansea will bid £2million for Crewe captain Westwood.

The 22-year-old, who is a similar player to Joe Allen, came through the League One club's academy.

The midfielder was made Crewe skipper last term and has been watched by Everton and Blackpool.
