Swansea City are set to beat Premiership clubs Manchester City and Blackburn Rovers for 17 year-old Welsh striker Jordan Follows.

The Llanelli starlet is due to begin trials with Swansea this week with a view to winning a pro contract.

David Moss, head of youth development at Swansea City, said: "I have been trying to sign Jordan for four months but haven't had any luck.

"He has recently spent some time at a Premiership club and now I'm hoping that he can come down to us so what we can take a look at him."
