Swansea again blocked from signing Portsmouth defender Tosic
Swansea City have again been blocked from signing Portsmouth defender Dusko Tosic.
The Daily Mail says Swansea's efforts to sign Serbia international defender Tosic have been blocked again after the FA refused to give special dispensation for an emergency loan move.
The Premier League side have also made an offer for Tosic, 25.
The Portsmouth defender was signed outside the January window as a free agent to play in the FA Cup against Southampton, but the Premier League decreed that Pompey could not register any more players due to their financial situation - so withheld his registration to play in league games. The player is seeking legal advice to resolve the issue.
A source said: "They are messing with a player's life here."

If the PL is refusing to grant Swansea's request to sign Tosic then why do they not offer a valid reason for the refusal?
Tosic is a free agent and therefore, transfer window or not, he can sign for whom he wishes!
The PL MUST give a public reason for not allowing Tosic to sign for Swansea or indeed for anyone else - immediately!
Tosic at present is unable to earn a salary from football due to the PL and would surely have a case against them under 'restraint of trade' which would, according to various articles upon the internet covering such matters, see Tosic win his case!
I have no personal interest in Tosic but for any player to be restricted from plying his trade by a body who do not offer a valid reason or do not have any rules to validify such a restriction, is totally out of order!
