Swansea ace Sinclair happy playing for Rodgers

Swansea City winger Scott Sinclair is convinced he would never have received a chance at Chelsea if he'd stayed.

Chelsea spent £8m on youngsters Kevin De Bruyne and Patrick Bamford last month. But quartet Romelu Lukaku, Thibaut Courtois, Ulises Davila and Lucas Piazon cost a total of £36m in the last 12 months and none has made a mark in Andre Villas-Boas' team.

Sinclair said: "Leaving was a step I had to take and the best thing is I have a manager who believes in me. I did not celebrate my goal out of respect for Chelsea's fans."
