Suwon Bluewings crash to home defeat in K-League

Suwon Bluewings dropped to the bottom of the K-League table after a home defeat at the hands of Jeju United.

The Bluewings missed a number of chances in front of goal and struggled to find a way past Jeju keeper Han Dong-jin.

Bang Sung-hwan scored the only goal of the game in the 72nd minute to give Jeju an unlikely victory.

"We don't have a good record at Suwon so it was great to win," said Jeju's Brazilian boss, Artur Bernandes.

"We are improving and are attacking better than we did last season. I expect better performances down the line."

Suwon coach Cham Bum-keun was very frustrated after the loss saying, "It wasn't the result we wanted.

"We have now lost both our home games and it is frustrating but there wasn't anything in particular we did wrong.

"The main reason we lost is because we lacked decisiveness in front of goal and weren't able to take our chances.

"We need time. As time passes, we will improve. Results have not been good in the league but I am not pessimistic about the future."
