Chris Sutton could quit retirement only months after hanging up his boots at Aston Villa.

Non-League Dereham Town are trying to tempt Sutton out of retirement. The former Celtic striker packed in the game in the summer after suffering an eye injury playing for Aston Villa at the end of last year.

Dereham boss Robert Taylor played with Sutton at Norwich and hopes to persuade him to turn out for the Norfolk-based side.
