Sutherland hopes for QPR chance after AFC Wimbledon spell

QPR youngster Frankie Sutherland has completed his loan with AFC Wimbledon.

Sutherland hopes he has proven he can handle the rigours of first-team football following a successful loan.

"I really enjoyed my time at Wimbledon," he told the club's official website.

"I've had two disappointing loan spells where they've had to be cut short through injury, so it was nice to get some games under my belt.

"We picked up some good results and had a nice run in the FA Cup. I really enjoyed it and wish them all the best.

"Knowing now that I can play Saturday and Tuesday, and having done so, I do really want to push on.

"When you go down to the lower leagues you realise how lucky you are to be at a club like QPR, with good facilities and fantastic staff looking after you.

"I really want to push on this year and make it a good one."
