Suso was pleased with his performance for AC Milan in their 1-1 draw with Sampdoria.

The former Liverpool midfielder came off the bench and hit the post.

"My shot was just a matter of inches. Too bad for the post, but I must highlight the good work of the team. We closed Samp in their half of the field in the second half, but we were lucky to find the goal. The team is working well.

"The coach and my teammates are very good. We need a bit more luck, then the points will come. We have to think game by game and then things will get better and so consequently the points will come.

"Now I'm better than when I arrived. I'm happy and I'm playing. I want to prove to the coach to be a major player."
