Chelsea are being linked with a possible move for FC Koln's Jonas Hector.

The Daily Mirror is reporting that Blues boss Antonio Conte is weighing up an offer for the German left-back who has been heavily linked with Liverpool in recent times.

Baba Rahman's loan move to Schalke has Conte eyeing a new full-back and it is understood that he has enquired with Koln about the availability of the £20million-rated Hector.

The 26-year-old Germany international only signed a new deal with Koln last week but that has not stopped Chelsea from showing interest.

Conte has the right-footed Cesar Azpilicueta as his starting left-back at the moment but feels Hector would strengthen his squad while also allowing the Spaniard to move to the right side of defence if required.
