Andrew Surman admits leaving cash-strapped Southampton was the hardest thing he has ever done, but is already convinced he made the right move joining Wolves, reports the Birmingham Mail. The England Under-21 midfielder, who saw his old club fall into administration last season and then suffer relegation, said: "It a massive blow for me seeing Saints' demise as I have been a fan since I was really young but the club does seem to be sorting itself out now with a new owner and a new manager. Things are looking up.

"But for me it is all about Wolves now and I have never played in the Premier League but I have confidence in my own ability.

"I feel I can perform at this level so time will tell."
