Supporter-owned Nashville FC lands new stadium

National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) franchise Nashville FC have announced their home venue for the upcoming 2014 season.

The Tennessee club, which was founded in 2013, is the first 100% supporter-owned outfit in the USA and now has a home base.

Nashville will play at the Vanderbilt Soccer Complex on the Vanderbilt University campus which houses 2,400 seats to be considered 'one of the best collegiate soccer venues in the country'.

Nashville FC, who are still accepting founding memberships of $75 for their crowd-sourcing ownership plan, will begin competition on May 10 when the NPSL season kicks off.
