Supersports’s Khumalo linked with Tottenham
Supersport United defender Bongani Khumalo is being linked with a winter move to Tottenham.
The Swaziland-born South Africa international impressed in a trial with Spurs during the summer and although Harry Redknapp did not make a move for him in the recently closed transfer window, Supersport chairman Khulu Sibiya says something may happen down the track.
“Spurs will have to pitch an offer. Negotiations will open then,” he said.
“I am of the opinion that the player has a lot of potential. If he is patient and concentrates on cementing his place in the national team he will go far.”
