Newcastle United legend Malcolm Macdonald can see his old club being relegated next season.

Supermac wrote in the Evening Chronicle: "Unless there is a massive shake-up in the summer, I fear for Newcastle United next season.

"Honestly, if the form of 2014 continues they will be fighting against relegation.

"Because everywhere I look I see problems, not hope.

"In the attitude of the players, in the excuses of Alan Pardew, and in the inability of the coaches to have any sort of impact on play.

"It really is as bad as that."
