Bayern Munich youngster David Alaba is chasing a move to Arsenal.

The 17-year-old midfielder has already earned a place in Bayern's Champions League squad and is Austria's youngest-ever international.

After arriving at Bayern from Austria Vienna, the teenager wants to make his mark first in Munich before attempting to impress Gunners boss Arsene Wenger.

"As a child I dreamed of playing for Arsenal," he revealed in Der Standard. "I admire their philosophy.

"There is a lot of work with youngsters and the way they play football is wonderful.

"But I feel very well at Bayern.

"I also want to play in a major tournament with Austria but I must improve in all areas."
