Super agent Jorge Mendes is expected to touch down in England today to finalise a Manchester United contract for Angel di Maria. Mendes has been in Singapore this past weekend, but was on his way back to Europe last night in order to oversee negotiations.
Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti confirmed yesterday that Di Maria had missed training ahead of their clash with Cordoba, but was at the club to farewell his teammates and coaching staff.
The Argentine could meet Mendes in Manchester today ahead of travelling to Carrington to undergo a medical and sign terms.
United will pay €70 million to sign Di Maria, who left Benfica in 2010 for Real in a €36 million deal.
