Super agent Jorge Mendes is in contact with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez about the future of coach Carlo Ancelotti.

The Italian is under pressure to keep hold of his job and Mendes recommended a replacement to Perez last week.

El Mundo Deportivo says Mendes met with Perez last week to discuss the coaching situation and offered Benfica boss Jorge Jesus to the Real president.

Mendes told Perez that Jesus would be the ideal successor for the Italian.

Only yesterday, Jesus refused to shutdown questions about moving to Real in the summer.
