Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is relying on super agent Jorge Mendes to get a deal done quickly for Real Betis midfielder Dani Ceballos.

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane wants Ceballos signed before they leave for their overseas preseason tour. But for Florentino, much will depend on the work of Mendes.

The Portuguese must move James Rodriguez out of Real for Ceballos to agree to arrive - with PSG a favoured destination. It's suggested Mendes will seek to find PSG winger Angel di Maria a new club before replacing him with James.

At Betis, they have already secured their replacement for Ceballos in former Barca winger Cristian Tello.
