Inter Milan's owners Suning have assured fans of their transfer market ambitions.
Their vice-president Yang Yang says they have big plans for Inter.
“Our priority is to become a leader in the world of sport, and from there we can expand our assets and liquidity," he said at a seminar on Sunday.
“Suning has already invested in football, and in addition to this, we want to create a football analytics platform that accumulates industrial benefits in the coming years via both online and offline channels.
“The central [Chinese] government has issued a series of measures to support the development of its sports industry by coordinating all the resources committed to the development of business in this area.
“Suning, for now, is divided into three sections, one dedicated to clubs, another for the acquisition of TV rights and another for sporting and commercial interests.
“In the future, Suning will focus in particular on Inter and Jiangsu for them to build two great teams with great players."
