Sunderland's Wallace: I'll play anywhere for Scotland

Sunderland midfielder Ross Wallace says he'll play anywhere to win a first Scotland cap.

The 22-year-old, who enjoyed an excellent game in left midfield for Scotland B in the 1-1 draw with the Republic of Ireland, said: "It was good to get another run out for my country in the B game last night. It was a bit of a scrappy match, but it was good to be involved.

"With the Euro 2008 qualifying campaign finishing and the qualifiers for the World Cup starting up it is a new start for the Scotland team.

"Left wing is the position that I am most comfortable in, but I can also play at left-back and I would be happy to feature there for Scotland. I hope to be involved."
