Sunderland wing-back Kieran Richardson is wanted by promoted West Ham United.

Richardson started his career at West Ham before being snapped up as a junior by Manchester United.

The Daily Mail says Richardson, who came through the Hammers academy before moving to Manchester United as a 16-year-old, has 12 months left on his current deal at the Stadium of Light and his future remains unclear.
