Sunderland's former Manchester United midfielder Kieran Richardson is ready to face old foes Liverpool tomorrow.

He said: "I've had some good games with Liverpool and I'm looking forward to Saturday.

"Liverpool are a good side - they have a chance of winning the title - and it will be tough for us.

"But in football you always have a chance. We are at home and we can have a go at them.

"If the fans get behind us, we are a force against anyone. I can't underestimate how important the fans are to us."
