Sunderland winger Andy Reid believes there's much more to come from him next season.

"I'm looking forward to getting my teeth into training. We were all given regimes to work to during the summer so we're in good shape when we return to full pre-season training in July," said Reid.

"I felt good last season and I thought I did well, but I do think I have more to offer. I'm feeling good and hopefully with all the conditioning work and pre-season friendlies, and providing I can stay injury-free, I'll be able to hit the ground running when the season starts.

"The manager is looking to bring some new players in which will add some quality to the squad so it's that time of the year when supporters start looking forward again, and we as players are no different."
