Sunderland defender Anton Ferdinand admits he's now heeding the advice of brother Rio, the Manchester United star.

Anton said: "He tells me to train properly and make sure I do things right off the pitch. In a recent interview I read, Rio said he's always told me not to go out nightclubbing as much as I did.

"As a footballer, he's always said you have to conserve as much energy as you can. At the time I thought it was a load of rubbish but now I've grown up and appreciate it more. I don't go out half as much as I used to. There are times to let your hair down but you have to be responsible."
