Sunderland's Elmohamady happy to be reunited with Hull boss Bruce

Sunderland winger Ahmed Elmohamady is delighted to be playing for Steve Bruce at Hull City.

The player was frozen out when Martin O'Neill replaced Bruce last season, but the player is clearly thriving again after being re-united with his old boss.

He said: "The gaffer is a great manager and a really great man.

"His personality is wonderful, and I really like him a lot.

"That is why I have come to Hull to play my football - because this manager is here and he knows me very well.

"Now I am back with him I honestly believe we can carry on getting better and better through the season and go up to the Premier League."
