Sunderland striker Darren Bent has revealed how he almost was caught in the middle of the Toon Army!

The hitman booked into a restaurant near St James's Park, not realising it was match night.

He said: "I parked up and thought: 'This is busy, I wonder why'.

"Then I realised Newcastle had a home game. It took half an hour to sneak out of my car!''
