Sunderland's Arnau Riera is being chased by a number of Championship clubs.
The Spaniard joined The Black Cats in 2006 after leaving Barcelona - but that was before Roy Keane arrived.
Following Keane's arrival Arnau saw little action and joined Southend on loan.
Then last summer he agreed a season-long loan to Falkirk and he enjoyed his stint north of the border.
When Sunderland announced that Riera was on their retained list, it was reported that the 26-year-old may be in line for a recall.
But his representative Craig Honeyman of SEM, has confirmed that Riera will not be staying at the Stadium of Light.
"Arnau is looking for a move and we hope that will be sooner rather than later," Honeyman told skysports.com.
"Arnau is thinking over a few things but there is interest from the Championship and also in Holland."
