Sunderland's Anderson admits Aberdeen second thoughts

Sunderland defender Russell Anderson admits he regrets leaving Aberdeen last summer.

Now on-loan at Plymouth Argyle, Anderson said: "I can't answer whether I would have left Aberdeen for the Championship; I left Aberdeen to go to the Premiership.

"If that had been the decision I had to make, I don't know. It would have been a different question but I am not looking back on that. It is history and there is no point."
