Three of Sunderland's FA Youth Cup heroes have won pro deals.

Jordan Henderson, Nathan Luscombe and Jordan Cook have joined star striker Martyn Waghorn by signing pro forms.

Black Cats boss Roy Keane said: "We're always monitoring the young lads. They deserve the praise when they do well, but we don't want any young players getting carried away.

"I'm delighted for the lads that they're in the quarter-finals and they'll feel they can win it now. Why not?

"Waggy scored a couple of cracking goals in the last round against Liverpool and credit to Ged McNamee and Kevin Ball because they've got a good side there working hard for each other.

"Waggy's obviously had his chances in the first team this season and we took Jordan Henderson and Jack Colback with us when we went to Liverpool three weeks ago.

"I've told the young lads that they will get their chances if their attitude is right."
