El-Hadji Ba is expected to leave Sunderland on-loan this season.
The Journal says Ba's name has been circulated to clubs in France for a possible loan move as Sunderland look to move into next season with a leaner squad - while also trying to improve a talent who was signed as part of a massive squad overhaul last term.
The former Le Havre midfielder was involved in the final game of last season against Swansea in a sign Gus Poyet has seen potential in the summer capture - but it looks increasingly likely he will be granted a move.
