Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill is yet to make a decision over Connor Wickham's loan at Sheffield Wednesday.

The Journal says Wednesday were last night still hopeful that the striker would remain with them for the rest of the season, or at least for one more month, despite Sunderland's current lack of attacking options.

But O'Neill remained unsure whether Wickham would be taken back to the Stadium of Light now that his one-month loan deal is over.
