Sunderland are yet to make a serious move for Hearts goalkeeper Craig Gordon.
The Independent says while Sunderland have re-investigated the possibility of signing the Hearts goalkeeper Craig Gordon, it is a preliminary enquiry and there have been no fresh negotiations with either Hearts or Gordon.
Gordon did not visit Wearside on Wednesday.
