Sunderland signing Sebastian Larsson admits a return to Arsenal was tempting.
The 26-year-old is relishing his fresh start as he looks forward to working for a second time with Steve Bruce, who signed him from the Gunners while in charge at St Andrew's in 2007.
Larsson said: "Of course it was tempting to go back to Arsenal, there was some interest. But then I decided to sign for Sunderland.
"The gaffer here showed a lot of interest in me, which is nice. The fact that I've worked with him before helped.
"This is a massive club and I wanted to take the next step by coming here."
